Lebanon VA Rehab Services Consolidation:                 

The Veterans Administration (VA) has been renovating and upgrading many of its facilities throughout the country in recent years to properly care for our Military Men and Women. The Lebanon, Pa. facility recently built and addition to their existing facility to consolidate the rehabilitation services. It incorporated both traditional Dry Spray Fireproofing and Intumescent Fireproofing.

Dry Spray Fireproofing is typically used in concealed area where ascetics are not of concern but, the Gym Area on this project incorporated and open design that eliminated the need for a traditional drop ceiling. The exposed Roof Beams were first sprayed with CAFCO Sprayfilm Intumescent Fireproofing and then the Roof Deck was sprayed with CAFCO BlazeShield II Dry Spray Fireproofing to achieve a 1 Hr Roof assembly Rating. Both the beams and deck where then sprayed with an acrylic paint to finish the application.
